IMPACT promised a momentous two weeks of action as they shifted Rebellion from its slot in NYC on PPV to television, but it is missing one key ingredient. Current IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard is nowhere to be seen on the card, but she’s just staying safe. In a post on Twitter, Tessa states that she’s staying home to stay safe and encourages all her fans to do the same.
I’m sorry to all the fans of @IMPACTWRESTLING that I wasn’t there tonight. These times effect each one of us in very different yet very significant ways. I encourage everyone 2 stay home & that includes myself. Great job to everyone who competed tonight. #WeAreAllInThisTogether

Blanchard also chimed in on Michael Elgin’s statements at the event, saying she’s more than game to compete against her current rival. “To be the best, you’ve got to beat the best.. and whether you or anyone else likes it, I AM the best in IMPACT Wrestling.”
