Dashwood recently did in a Captain’s Corner virtual signing and shared her thoughts on following the end of Undertaker’s streak.

“Well I actually was a part of two WrestleManias and the first one was — it was actually quite funny because it was the WrestleMania where The Undertaker, his undefeated streak was up. So, the match immediately after that was the Divas Battle Royal. That was my very first WrestleMania… It was like the most impossible spot you could possibly have on a show I think. Everyone was just absolutely devastated and then, hit the music and here come all the Divas. It just was horrible timing. But someone had to do it and we did it and that was my first of that moment so it was really special for me. My family’s watching back in Australia and everything…”

The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WWE WrestleMania 30 is one of the most memorable moments in wrestling history. However, what often gets overlooked is the match that followed immediately after – the Vickie Guerrero Invitational for the WWE Divas Championship. Tenille Dashwood, also known as Emma, was one of the participants in this historic match.

In a recent Captain’s Corner virtual signing, Dashwood shared her thoughts on being part of WrestleMania 30 and the unique position she found herself in. She described it as “the most impossible spot you could possibly have on a show.” The Undertaker’s streak had just been broken, and the audience was still reeling from the shock and devastation. Then, suddenly, the music hit, and all the Divas made their entrance.

Dashwood acknowledged that the timing was less than ideal. The emotional impact of The Undertaker’s loss overshadowed the Divas Battle Royal that followed. However, she also recognized the significance of the moment for her personally. It was her first WrestleMania, and her family back in Australia was watching. Despite the challenging circumstances, Dashwood embraced the opportunity and made the most of it.

The Vickie Guerrero Invitational featured several talented Divas, including AJ Lee, Aksana, Alicia Fox, the Bella Twins, Ariane Andrew, Eva Marie, Layla El, Trinity Fatu, Natalya, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae, and Tamina. AJ Lee successfully defended her title against these competitors, solidifying her place as one of the top Divas in WWE at the time.

While Dashwood’s involvement in the match may have been overshadowed by The Undertaker’s streak ending, it remains a significant moment in her career. WrestleMania is the pinnacle of professional wrestling, and being part of such a high-profile event is an achievement in itself.
