Following his spectacular debut with AEW, Teddy Long, the revered WWE Hall of Famer, has an interesting proposition for Bobby Lashley. Long sees him as the ideal opponent for the Mighty Lashley.
Last month, Lashley made a significant move by joining Tony Khan’s platform and aligning with MVP and Shelton Benjamin to form The Hurt Business.
Appearing on a recent episode of the podcast, “Wrestling Time Machine”, Long shared his thoughts on Lashley’s arrival and the opponent he thinks would be perfect for him. In Long’s words:
“MJF, that’s who I’d like to see him with. The reason why I would like to see that is because Bobby Lashley, he’s a good talker but not the best talker. MJF’s outstanding and can cut a hell of a promo and make this thing work with him and Bobby. I’d like to see that, and MJF is believable, he makes me believe.”
Lashley is set to make his ring debut for AEW at AEW Full Gear, where he will compete against Swerve Strickland later this month.
Meanwhile, MJF is locked in a dispute with Adam Cole and Roderick Strong. He is slated to fight against either of the two at AEW’s forthcoming pay-per-view event, which is scheduled for November 23.
