Teddy Long Likes The Hurt Syndicate, Costco Guy AJ Open To More AEW Matches

On a recent episode of the “WrestleBinge” podcast, Teddy Long, a WWE Hall of Famer expressed his views on All Elite Wrestling (AEW), mentioning he occasionally watches The Hurt Syndicate’s matches.

In his words, “I harbor no negative feelings towards them. When I can, I catch snippets of their matches, particularly those involving MVP and Shelton Benjamin. I’m not completely disinterested in what they’re up to. However, some remarks made about me didn’t sit well.”

The Hurt Syndicate is currently locked in a rivalry with Swerve Strickland.

AJ Befumo, known as Big Boom from the team called Costco Guys, is set to lock horns with QT Marshall in the AEW Full Gear 2024, but is also willing to compete in more than just one fight.

At present, AJ holds a contract to participate in a single match during the Zero Hour pre-show of Full Gear 2024.

While making an appearance on the podcast titled “Battleground”, AJ hinted at potential future bouts with AEW.

His words were, I believe things are aligning for more [laughs]. Let’s start with the audience’s demand for more. I can assure you, I’ll be bringing such energetic performances that the audience will ask for more. I’m loving the way AEW has been managing everything till now. It’d be a privilege to have more matches with them. However, we are packed with other tasks related to social media, so things will depend on how they line up, but the possibilities are surely open.
