Teddy Long – ‘Kenny Omega Would Beat Kurt Angle In The Latter’s Prime’

Teddy Long believes Kenny Omega would have beaten Kurt Angle in the latter’s prime.

Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda’s “WrestleBinge” podcast, the former WWE SmackDown General Manager commented on a dream match between the two men. Long said,

“I’m not taking anything away from Kurt Angle. But I’m telling you about Kenny Omega, a guy that’s come from Japan, where you learn there or you get beat up every night. So Kenny Omega has got experience. It’s gonna be real close, but Kenny, he’ll come out on top on that.”

For what it’s worth, Omega has previously stated that Angle would have beat him. The Cleaner tweeted,

“I don’t study myself when I want to learn, I study Kurt. He’s the best for a reason. I take the L – but it’d be a heck of match”
