As a part of Brett Dibiase’s ongoing legal troubles for embezzling charity funds, it seems that an organization founded by father Ted DiBiase has come under fire for similarly shady dealings. According to a report by the Clarion-Ledger circulated by the New York Post, DiBiase’s Heart of David Ministries accepted over $2 million in welfare from the state of Mississippi. To put that in perspective, Mississippi has denied more than 98 percent of individual welfare applicants

The WWF legend was not indited personally as a part of the allegations. However, Brett, who served as a senior official at the Mississippi Department of Human Services, seemingly funneled funds to his father’s organizations in his multi-year term in office. The Ministries told reporters that the funds were used for “general church speaking engagements, religious conferences, school assemblies, and wrestling events.” Despite this, the organization did not file any tax documents over the past two years.
