During a recent installment of his podcast titled “Everybody’s Got a Pod”, wrestling legend and WWE Hall Inductee, Ted DiBiase Sr., recounted his own experiences working alongside Jake Roberts in WWE. Summaries of several key moments from the podcast are as follows:

On the topic of collaborating with Jake Roberts in 1989, DiBiase Sr. stated, “I had been looking forward to the chance to collaborate with Jake, because it was such a seamless experience. Indeed, there are occasions when you are partnered with someone who is well-aware of what they’re doing, but Jake was a pleasure to work with.”

Regaring an incident where Jake placed a snake on him for a show, DiBiase Sr. commented, “I was untroubled by the ordeal. I can’t claim to be fond of snakes. In fact, I often remark that the only good snakes are deceased ones, due to their slimy and repulsive nature. However, considering the intentions of the show, I wasn’t alarmed thinking that the snake would fall on me and attempt to strangle me. Based on my observation, that snake was comparatively inert when Jake handled it.”

On the possibility of Jake trying to prank him with the snake, DiBiase Sr. asserted, “No, I don’t believe Jake would have risked that, as the retaliation would have been severe.”
