Taz Signs Multi-Year Contract With All Elite Wrestling
The mood is about to change in All Elite Wrestling—Taz is officially under contract with the new wrestling promotion.
AEW made the announcement this morning, posting a video showing Taz signing his contract along with Cody Rhodes and Vice president of business strategy Chris Harrington. At the close of the video, Taz shakes Cody’s hand and states, “Looks like I’ve joined a revolution… again.”
After the video announcement was posted, Taz issued the following response:
“I am beyond proud to be on this AWESOME team of driven/talented people! Let’s GO. #ImWithAEW #AEW

Earlier this morning, “The Human Suplex Machine” noted that his podcast would be going on hiatus for quite some time, but more news about his career would be revealed shortly.
No details were revealed regarding what his official role with the company will be, but the former WWE / IMPACT Wrestling commentator recently returned to the broadcast booth after enjoying a successful run on CBS Radio. Taz worked last night’s AEW Dark tapings in Miami, and has made a few appearances for the company on their YouTube show in 2019, including his return to commentary at the Philadelphia TV tapings in October.
