The esteemed organization of National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) has publicly declared the signing of both Taylor Rising and Ruthie Jay.
This recent action aligns with the NWA’s prevailing approach of employing a number of wrestlers over the past weeks, with talents such as Kenzie Page, Eric Smalls, Natalia Markova, Colby Corino, The Immortals, and more among the new recruits.

“Pre-NWA 76, National Wrestling Alliance Signs Ruthie Jay, Taylor Rising”
Celebrating the fastest-rising and talented women in wrestling, the NWA proudly announces the signing of Michelle ‘Ruthie Jay’ Jay and Taylor Rising.
The signing of these stars assures the continual growth of the division. Both competitors became part of the NWA in 2023 and soon after became contenders for the championship.
“Our aim is to deliver the best female athletes in wrestling for our fans,” says Joe Galli, NWA Chief Operating Officer.
“Ruthie Jay and Taylor Rising are two of the NWA’s brightest rising stars,” adds Galli. “Their signing assures our women’s division will continue to deliver some of the most thrilling and robust action in NWA.”
“The Five Star Athlete” Ruthie Jay, born in Haiti, has often come close to defeating the NWA Women’s World Champion Kenzie Paige (who also recently signed an exclusive contract). Her partnership with La Rosa Negra poses significant challenge to the Women’s World Tag Team Titles.
Canadian Taylor Rising, had her initial NWA appearance at the 2023 Burke Invitational Gauntlet. Despite unsuccessful attempts at the Women’s TV and World Tag titles, her signing of a long-term contract guarantees her continued pursuit for success within the NWA.
Ruthie Jay and Taylor Rising will make their appearances in the NWA 76 event, held on August 31 at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena. This significant annual event honours NWA’s founding in 1948. All of the NWA’s championships are anticipated to be defended during this event which will be recorded for NWA’s Tuesday night flagship program NWA Powerrr.
