Taya Valkyrie says her contractual status with IMPACT Wrestling is none of anyone’s business.
The current Knockouts Champion spoke out against a new report about her status with IMPACT Wrestling, saying her contract didn’t “roll over” because she signed a two-year deal last year.
CLICK BAIT! Yo, I don’t know what a “roll over contract is” but that’s not what I signed. I signed for two years LAST YEARRRRRRR. Simple as that. Now stop writing bullshit about me. It’s F’ing annoying. And also my job and contracts are none of anyone’s business.
Valkyrie was the subject of rumors this week after she posted a photo of herself at the Royal Rumble in Houston. She noted she was only there to support her husband, John Morrison, who had just returned to WWE this month, but that didn’t stop people from speculating that she might be WWE bound. In response to that, PWInsider had reported Valkyrie’s contract had been automatically picked up for another year, which would extend her stay with IMPACT through December 2020.
PWInsider.com had also reported on September 26 that Morrison signed a new deal to return to WWE, which both Morrison and Valkyrie had dismissed as false. In December, WWE confirmed Morrison had in fact signed a new deal to return to the company and made his TV return on January 3.
