Tajiri Revealed As MLW’s ‘Mysterious Debut’, Announced For MLW Fightland

Tajiri has been announced for Major League Wrestling‘s “Fightland” event on October 2 in Philadelphia.

MLW had been teasing a “mysterious” debut for the show, and on Monday night, the company revealed that the newcomer is none ohter than Yosihiro Tajiri, a former WWE star who has competed all over the world.

Tajiri, 50, is a former WWE Tag Team Champion, World Tag Team Champion, Cruiserweight Champion and Light Heavyweight Champion. He returned to WWE in 2016-2017 and competed in the Cruiserweight Classic. Tajiri has recently been wrestling for All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Previously, during his time with ECW, he held the promotion’s World Television Championship. He also won the ECW World Tag Team Championship with Mikey Whipwreck.
