Tag Title Match Announced For Upcoming Episode Of ROH Wrestling

The feud between Violence Unlimited and La Faccion Ingobernable continues to heat up in Ring of Honor, and the warring factions will collide in a title match on an upcoming episode of ROH Wrestling.

On the newest edition of “Eck’s Files” on the Ring of Honor website, staff member Kevin Eck announced that Chris Dickinson and Homicide of Violence Unlimited will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against La Faccion Ingobernable’s Dragon Lee and Kenny King on the weekend of September 11.

“Speaking of Dickinson and Homicide, they will put the tag team belts on the line against former champions Dragon Lee and Kenny King of La Faccion Ingobernable on Ring of Honor Wrestling the weekend of Sept. 11,” wrote Eck. “Lee and King won the title from Lethal and Gresham in February. At the 19th Anniversary show in March, King and Bestia del Ring (substituting for the injured Lee) lost the title to Williams and Titus.

“Dickinson and Homicide defeated Titus and Gresham (substituting for the injured Williams) for the title at Best in the World last month.”

Violence Unlimited beat La Faccion Ingobernable in a wild Philadelphia Street Fight at ROH Glory By Honor Night One; it’s fair to assume LFI will be eager to avenge this loss when the two sides clash once again.

Matt Taven Responds To Glory By Honor Loss

ROH Glory By Honor Night Two ended with a climactic main event in which Vincent defeated Matt Taven. Their battle inside a steel cage ended a feud that has stretched over two years, and in a clip ROH posted on its Twitter page, Taven had a tearful reaction to this defeat. He noted that the loss officially ended his friendship-turned-rivalry with Vincent.

“I don’t know if I have anything to say,” said Taven. “The worst part, I think, about all this is, it’s real. This is the real end to 13 years of my life. When I met Vinny, we were just two kids trying to figure out how to do this. And we had each other, that’s all we had. And yeah I mean, there was a crew of us and I got [Mike] Bennett for life and stuff but man, oh my god I wanna cry.

“Yeah there was a crew of us ,but Vinny and I were always thick as thieves, man. And to think that that was the result of a friendship, to think that’s how it ends, it’s a big reality check for me, and I don’t know what’s next.”
