SyFy has announced the acquisition of former YouTube Red program Dallas and Robo for their late-night TZGZ animated block. The show, which stars WWE Legend John Cena and Kat Dennings, will begin airing on Saturday, August 8 at “midnight-ish ET/PT” according to the network’s official press release. John Cena made the announcement via his own social media.

People of earth! #DallasAndRobo is hitting #TZGZ, @SYFY’s animated side, Saturday 8/8 at midnight-ish. Check out @tzgz_syfy to see the greatest space trucker tandem since Han and Chewy! pic.twitter.com/Dr54PeA2Ln

The show follows “mis-adventures of foul-mouthed ex-stock car racer Dallas (Dennings) and her ass-kickin’ artificially intelligent good buddy, Robo (Cena). Together, they navigate their way around cannibal bikers, rival space truckers and vending machine burritos as they try to make a buck in the seedy world of interplanetary big rigging.”

If you’re a YouTube Premium subscriber, you can still binge the entire eight-episode run of the show on that service at the time of writing. SyFy mentions that episodes of the comedy will air on SyFy On Demand for those who prefer their TV unshackled by the restraints of the clock. The first episode is available for free and embedded below via WWE’s YouTube channel:
