In Kumamoto, Japan, Sunday’s show witnessed Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi emerging as winners in the 2024 World Tag League finals.
After the main event, Naito proposed a singles match against Takahashi. This match was originally planned for the NJPW 48th Anniversary event in March 2020, but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. NJPW has now officially given the green signal for the match, and the two stablemates will battle it out at Wrestle Kingdom 19.
Wrestle Kingdom 19 is to be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
