In a recent chat on the popular “Breakfast Club” show, the wrestling sensation Swerve Strickland held nothing back. He publicly relished his current experience with AEW, stating he has no future plans regarding a WWE comeback. In Strickland’s own words,
“Nah, I’m happy building AEW. I’m happy building myself in AEW. AEW has given me something that I don’t think WWE could ever give me. I’m really proud of that and I wave the flag proudly because Tony Khan didn’t take a chance on me, he knew what he wanted from me. He put me in the position and said, ‘Now grow.’ ‘What avenues do I have to grow?’ ‘Whatever you want.’ There were no parameters, no red tape. I learned how to become a true businessman on top of being a professional wrestler. That’s why the mogul persona is truly personified in AEW. It let me be my best self as a man and a professional.”

Meanwhile, another surprise from the wrestling world came from the “Battleground” podcast where Jeff Hardy shared some tantalising news. Fans of his Willow personality, which has been on hiatus from TNA Wrestling for nearly a decade, have reason to celebrate. Hardy indicated that the much-loved character will be returning. In his words,
“Well, I can tell you that it’ll look different than it did last time, because there is a new version of the Willow face plate mask in the making, and it’s looking pretty sick, like sick in a good way. So yeah, before it’s all said and done, Willow will definitely return here in Total Non-Stop Action.“
