At the recent AEW Dynamite episode, viewers witnessed former AEW World Champions, Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page, confront each other once more. The intense altercation involved the duo hurling accusations, and even officiating staff had to intervene. Hangman jabbed at past events, pointing out that he had previously burned down Strickland’s house.
In an impressive display of bravado, Hangman declared, “You deserved it.” Remarkably, Strickland responded with, “I know!” before Hangman acknowledged his former rival’s consent and backed off.

Significantly, AEW also announced the opening bracket for the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament, introducing the first-round face-off between Mercedes Mone and Julia Hart, set to take place at the forthcoming AEW Dynasty 2025 event. The victor in this matchup is set to take on the winner of the first-round bout featuring Athena and Harley Cameron.
