Wrestling enthusiasts were left astounded when WWE Hall of Famer, John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield, unexpectedly showed up at the GCW Homecoming (Night One) event during the past weekend.
The evening’s headline event, a face-off between Mance Warner, Blake Christian, and Joey Janela, took a surprising turn. EFFY emerged, with a clear intent to thwart Warner’s chances of victory.
Unexpectedly, JBL made an appearance, emerging from the spectators. He threw EFFY off balance with a powerful punch and followed up with two of his infamous Clotheslines from Hell finishing moves on the beloved wrestling star.
Regardless of the disturbance, Warner managed to hold on to his GCW World Heavyweight Championship. Warner has held this title since June when he triumphed over Joey Janela.
JBL has made another memorable presence this month as he previously stepped out at AAA TripleMania in Mexico City, siding with Nic Nemeth.
Quoted on Twitter was a fan’s reaction to the shocking event: “HOLY F*CK! JBL just showed up at GCW tonight & hit 2 Clotheslines from Hell 🤯.”
