Cena made a surprise appearance at WWE Money In The Bank on Sunday night, confronting Roman Reigns after he defeated Edge in the main event. Cena then cut a promo for the live crowd in Fort Worth and let them know that Sunday was just his first night back, and WWE’s announcement shows he’s making good on that promise.

“It’s so weird because I’m used to you guys telling me how much I suck. Man, this feels pretty good! I see this dude’s sign right here, it says, ‘If Cena shows up, we cheer’… is this bizarro world?

“Tonight I just wanted to come out here and let Roman Reigns know I was back, and I certainly wanted to come out here and let all of you know I’m back. I promise you this is not one night only, but what’s special to me is that this is the first night…”

Cena went on to thank the roster and the fans for keeping things going while he was gone; you can watch his full promo at this link.
