Swerve Strickland, on the Battleground Podcast, talked about the rumors of Ricochet moving to AEW. He also discussed the prospects of going up against him in the ring.

He stated, “We’ve had matches in MLW without the masks. It’s been Strickland versus Ricochet before. It’s really up to him what happens next. AEW is very competitive and it has a unique ladder to climb. It’s not necessarily easier. There are different challenges you need to adapt to both in and outside of the ring, especially in AEW.”

Strickland also advised, “So if Ricochet is indeed heading to AEW, he needs to be prepared to put on a unique type of working boots. AEW isn’t an easy place for anybody. Even I had to adapt because I’ve been in the position of being the new guy here. Several people have tried to adapt and failed. This speaks volumes about the kind of locker room, talents, energy and work strain that comes with being in AEW.”

Tonight’s AEW Rampage’s episode will start with the Royal Rampage match, with fighters like Orange Cassidy, Brody King, Claudio Castagnoli, Komander, Brian Cage, Tomohiro Ishii, The Butcher, Roderick String, Matt Menard, Brandon Cutler, Kyle O’Reilly, Jeff Jarrett, Matt Taven, Jay Lethal, Kip Sabian, Mike Bennett, Darby Allin, Lio Rush, and many more. The victor will have an AEW World Title shot at Grand Slam.

Tonight’s AEW Rampage lineup includes:

-The Outrunners vs. Private Party vs. The Righteous vs. Kyle Fletcher & Rush

-Leila Grey vs. Kris Statlander

-Lance Archer vs. TBA

-The Royal Rampage Match
