Chelsea Green is preparing to put her WWE Women’s United States Championship on the line against rival Michin, in what promises to be an explosive Street Fight on the imminent episode of WWE SmackDown.
This confrontation was revealed by Nick Aldis in an exclusive digital update, following Green’s voiced dissatisfaction regarding her match on Friday’s episode. Michin, along with B-Fab, interrupted which ignited a tensed verbal skirmish. In the midst of the tension, Michin took a swing with her kendo stick, unintentionally hitting Aldis. Aldis proceeded to set up the match, which is being marketed as a title fight, though he stopped short of formally confirming it in his announcement. This is the only confirmed face-off for next week’s show till now.
In other developments, LA Knight procured an opportunity at the WWE United States Title during Friday night’s spectacle of WWE SmackDown. His victory in a Triple Threat match against Jacob Fatu and Carmelo Hayes secured this opportunity.
Despite Fatu’s impressive performance in which he neutralized Hayes with an impaler DDT and a high-flying moonsault, Knight was able to pull Fatu out of the ring and pin Hayes, ensuring his triumph. This victory has granted him a prospective title challenge against Shinsuke Nakamura.
