Former wrestling superstar and WWE Hall of Famer, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, has recently revealed his current detachment from the wrestling industry. In a conversation with Zack Heydorn from Sports Illustrated, he discussed his relationship with the WWE now, post his association with Vince McMahon.
Austin asserted, “I haven’t talked to anybody. I don’t really talk to anybody that’s currently wrestling right now anymore. John Cena and I will talk, like once a year, or whatever. I haven’t talked to John in forever.”
Although he is not directly in touch with WWE currently, Austin insists that he harbors no ill feelings towards the company. In his words, “We’re good. I just don’t know how the day-to-days are going, but I mean, they’re pushing the creative envelope in a whole lot of different directions, and it seems like it’s done good for them, I guess.”
Despite his relaxed association with wrestling, Austin has been declared as a part of the WWE World experience, scheduled to happen prior to WrestleMania 41, which is to take place in the coming month.
