ORIGINAL: Following Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event, Sting continued his farewell address.
According to several fans in attendance, Sting first called down his sons to the ringside area. Earlier in the show, Sting’s sons appeared as Wolfpac Sting and Surfer Sting during his entrance. Sting then invited Tony Khan to the ringside area. “TK” wound up thanking the fans in attendance for paying Sting tribute and called Revolution the “greatest wrestling PPV ever.”
Darby Allin then cut a brief promo, thanking the fans for being there and said that he hoped Sting gave them their money’s worth. Darby then announced that he’d be going to the hospital to get stitched up. Sting then asked Allin to text him with how many stitches he gets.
Sting then pointed to Tony Schiavone who gave a last “It’s Sting!” call. The entire AEW roster and several executives came out to give Sting a standing ovation. The crowd also chanted “Thank you Sting.”
The segment ended with Sting hugging his sons in the ring. As he headed to the back, Sting hugged everyone on the roster and then went back to the ringside area to shake hands and high five the fans.
