During Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event, Sting wrestled the final match of his 40-year wrestling career as he teamed with Darby Allin to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) in a Tornado Tag Team match.

The Young Bucks blasted Sting with two back-to-back EVP Triggers, but The Icon kicked out both times. This angered the heel twins who took down the WCW legend with a double superkick.

The Young Bucks then set Sting up for a TK Driver but a bloody Darby sent Nicholas flying to the floor as Sting delivered a Scorpion Death Drop on Matthew for the cover.

Matthew kicked out, but Darby connected with a Coffin Drop for the pin to win and retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
