In a recent YouTube video, Stevie Richards provided insight into the recently reported meeting that happened between the President of AEW Tony Khan and Shane McMahon at a private airport in Arlington, TX.
Richards discussed Tony Khan and Shane McMahon’s meeting and said, “From what I’ve understood, it’s like a preamble: a conversation before the actual negotiation. They’re considering further discussions to advance the matter— Is that right? Something of that sort where Shane, being a McMahon, could potentially induce the intelligent fans, attract the die-hard supporters, and also bring in occasional viewers.”
Talking about the potential move, Richards said, “This could be Tony Khan’s well-deserved last resort at the moment. This isn’t a foolish decision; indeed, it might be one of the wisest moves that Tony Khan could make.”
Commenting on the allegedly deliberate leak of the photo, Richards stated, “I can’t believe this wasn’t a strategic leak. Even if it was unintentional, why would it be? As this might be the most significant news attracting casual viewers, mainstream followers as well as ardent enthusiasts.”
He also expressed intrigue about Shane McMahon’s efforts to attend the meeting, “It’s neither Stamford, Connecticut nor New York City where Shane resides; nor is it Jacksonville. It’s Arlington, Texas — what business does Shane have in Texas? Shane is demonstrating his effort to journey there. Regardless of whether it’s a mere stopover or actual business he’s conducting, he’s nevertheless taking time to meet with Tony Khan.”
Discussing the possible implications if the meeting yields nothing, Richards mentioned, “If you conduct such a meeting, and nothing materializes? People will never trust the subsequent ‘game-changer,’ the next major declaration, ‘the event that will alter the face of wrestling forever.’ You must at minimum secure one appearance from Shane McMahon.”
