Steve Austin Tells Fans To ‘Hang In There’ Post-RAW & Working With No Audience

It was quite the different RAW last night as talent played to an empty arena in the WWE Performance Center, but the individual to close the show with a couple Broken Skull IPAs was Steve Austin in celebration of “3:16 Day.” Sarah Schreiber took a moment to speak with Steve about being out their in the ring with only Byron Saxton and Becky Lynch to address:
“It was really cool to be here today. Very strange to be here in front of an arena with no people because for so long you train to work for a response and when you get that response you proceed accordingly,” Austin said. “I’ve worked in front of small crowds back when I first started but when you’re used to a whole lot of people being here it’s a little bit different but I was proud to be here and I know we’re in a tough time but to go out there and have fun with everybody and announce 3/16 day it was an absolute blast.”
Austin closed out the chat with Schreiber by turning to the camera and told the fans watching to hang in there. You can watch the entire clip below:
