Following her exit from CMLW and NJPW earlier this week, Stephanie Vaquer has put pen to paper with WWE.
Vaquer shot into the WWE radar following her NJPW Strong Women’s Title loss to Mercedes Mone at AEW x NJPW: The Forbidden Door 2024 event. Her performance was well-received before, during, and after the match.
According to Dave Meltzer from F4WOnline, the WWE does not intend to rebrand Vaquer’s ring name, a departure from their usual habit of rechristening talent originating from other promotions, which ultimately allows WWE to maintain the rights to their intellectual property.
It’s crucial to remember though, that the WWE reserves the right to rework Vaquer’s ring name in the future.
Vaquer is all set to grace the WWE live rings in Mexico City and Monterrey in the following weekend.
