This week in the WWE NXT episode, it was revealed by the General Manager, Ava, that even though Stephanie Vaquer managed to successfully defend her NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s North American Championship titles last week, she will not continue as a double-title holder. Ava stressed that it would be in the division’s best interest if one of the titles was defended by a different champion.
Consequently, Vaquer has decided to relinquish her NXT Women’s North American Championship. Who will take on this title will be decided at WWE Stand & Deliver in an exciting six-pack challenge ladder match. Qualifying matches will be held to determine the six contestants for the title.

Vaquer has clarified that she will only let go of the title if she gets the choice of selecting her next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship. Following this announcement, both Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker attempted to justify why they should be chosen. Vaquer suggested both of them to sort out this matter, leading to a breakout fight between the two contenders while Vaquer and Ava left the stage.
