Nexus of WWE, Stephanie Vaquer, voluntarily stepped down from her NXT Women’s North American Championship title, but set one condition crystal clear – she gets to select her own competitor for the NXT Women’s Championship at the eagerly awaited WWE Stand & Deliver event slated for April 19 during the buzzing WrestleMania weekend.
Both Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker threw their hats into the ring to become that chosen opponent, setting in motion a series of encounters and clashes that culminated in the premiere match of the latest NXT episode.
The match, however, came to an unexpected halt with no clear winner due to Vaquer’s intrusive intervention. Adding to this, a surprise re-entry of Giulia was recorded, who targeted Vaquer, seemingly seeking a revenge match.
The plot thickened when later in the show, the NXT General Manager Ava was confronted by Vaquer who had made her decision about selecting her competitor and shockingly chose all of them.

In light of this development, Stephanie Vaquer, fondly known as La Primera, will be defending her NXT Women’s Championship in an exciting Fatal 4-Way battle facing Jaida Parker, Giulia, and Jordynne Grace at the much-anticipated event, WWE Stand & Deliver.
With the Women’s North American Championship being contested in a six-woman ladder fight and the NXT Championship stake in a Triple Threat, WWE’s strategy of adding multiple big names to their event cards and running a multi-star theme is clearly visible.
