Stephanie McMahon recently spoke with Tony Maglio of TheWrap and doubled down on her explanation that she’s glad that this year’s WrestleMania will be able to learn from the Super Bowl. Both events will be played in Raymond James Stadium, and McMahon said that WWE will be able to study the NFL’s approach and learn from it.

“’It certainly does, I think, this year, work to our favor to be the event after the Super Bowl in the same stadium, especially given all of the key learnings that the Super Bowl will have,'” said McMahon via Maglio. “’And hopefully we’ll be able to glean some insights from them in terms of what works, what doesn’t work, what we need to do to really ensure the best experience possible.’”

WWE surprised many people when it announced the plans for the next few WrestleMania shows. Usually, the company reveals the plans for one show at a time. But this year, WWE opted to load the news into one major revelation. McMahon explained that the company wanted to officially start the planning process, and it aimed to give the fans something to look forward to.

“’It just helps everybody,'” said McMahon via Maglio. “‘It helps us for planning purposes, it helps our fans plan their trips, it helps in so many different capacities. And now we can really work with all of our partners across the board in all of these major cities and really blow everything out as big as we possibly can.

“Also, during this time, I think people need hope, and I think you need something to look forward to.'”

Given the news that WWE plans to allow fans at WrestleMania this year, it’s safe to say that the whole WWE Universe is looking forward to it.
