Boxer Stephen Fulton faced off against Naoya Inoue on Tuesday. During his ring introduction, he used Lil Uzi Vert’s “Nakamura” song.

For those who didn’t see the fight, Fulton wound up being knocked out in the eighth round. This led to Inoue capturing the WBC and WBO super bantamweight titles.

Prior to being released from WWE in 2022, Steph De Lander worked as Persia Pirotta in WWE NXT.

Speaking on a recent edition of VICE Australia & New Zealand, De Lander revealed that she once worked a match at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL in front of Florida governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, as he wanted to have a private wrestling show for his family. She said,

“I’ve wrestled in front of him. I’ve wrestled for DeSantis. I did meet him, yeah. He came to the PC once. We got called in on Saturday that Ron DeSantis wanted to have a wrestling show for his kids. So him and his family came in, and they sat front row, and we all beat each other up on a Saturday morning because he wanted to take his kids to see the wrestling.”

She added, “It is funny. If he becomes president, then I’ve technically wrestled in front of the president.”

Ron DeSantis’ campaign is currently failing miserably, with more than a third of its staff recently being fired.
