At this past Saturday’s Night of Champions premium live event from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER retained the title over Mustafa Ali.
Insider account Boozer #BWE recently reported on WWE’s plans for GUNTHER’s next opponent.
The account, which has broken past WWE stories, notes that Matt Riddle will be the next person to challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title.
As of this writing, it’s unclear exactly when the two will start feuding.
