In Brock Lesnar’s WWE debut match in April 2002, Spike Dudley was his first opponent. Discussing his experience on Maven’s YouTube channel, Dudley shared his recollection of being overrun by Lesnar and enduring several powerbombs from The Beast Incarnate.

During the interview with Dudley, he made a profound statement, “This was the sole instance in which I ever tapped out. A sequence of five powerbombs was meant to occur, but I could only withstand three. As he attempts the fourth one, you’ll see me backing out, indicating that I cannot go on. Despite never giving up previously, my head was in a poor state.”

Further, he admitted, “This moment made me feel weak and vulnerable, an emotion I am unaccustomed to in the wrestling world. Watching this pushes me into discomfort as I realize this is a part of Brock’s debut and history. I always find myself cringing because I feel I was not strong enough.”
