WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg recently took to Instagram to announce that he has joined Los Angeles-based businessman Neko Sparks‘ bid to buy the Ottawa Senators, a professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL).

If the bid is successful, Sparks would be the first Black owner in NHL history.

The final price for the Ottawa Senators could cross $1 billion, which would make it the richest transaction in NHL history.

Although Snoop is part of the consortium of owners as Sparks, it is unknown how much of a financial stake he has put forth.

The next round of bids is due on May 15th.

Snoop wrote the following on Instagram,

“Amazing what @neko_sparks is trying to do in Ottawa & I’m looking forward to being apart of that ownership team. I WANNA BRING HOCKEY TO OUR COMMUNITY.”

The New Day has been drafted to RAW as part of the 2023 WWE Draft, and Xavier Woods took to Twitter to jokingly thank Vince McMahon for the brand switch.

Woods joked that he struck a deal with McMahon and his agreement to shave his mustache off led to The New Day being drafted.
