SmackDown Sees Significant Rise In Viewership, Best Numbers Since April
Friday Night SmackDown on FOX is on the rise, seeing a big rise in viewership in comparison to the past few weeks. In fact, this week’s program brought in the types of numbers not seen since April.
Showbuzz Daily is reporting an average viewership of 2.261 million viewers over the course of the two-hour show. Hour one brought in 2.236 million while hour two was up from that number with 2.286 million. For comparison’s sake, last week’s show did 2.066 million, and the previous week did the peak of the ThunderDome era so far with 2.181 million.
Considering the new refined creative direction on the blue brand, it’s a good sign that fans are paying attention. Will the combined forces of The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and Alexa Bliss’s slow turn to the dark side continue to capture the audience’s attention? We shall see.
