SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match Announced, Winner Faces Roman Reigns That Night

Roman Reigns is prepared to defend his WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber, but not inside the actual chamber. Instead, as confirmed on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Reigns will defend his belt against whoever wins the Elimination Chamber match at the pay-per-view.
Coming out to the ring tonight with Paul Heyman and Jey Uso, Reigns spoke about how he’s willing to defend his title, but will be doing so against whoever wins the SmackDown Elimination Chamber. Not much else was revealed about the match, but Adam Pearce did say that both Kevin Owens and Jey Uso would be participating in the match.
Needless to say, Reigns wasn’t happy about either superstar being included, but there’s no guarantee either will win when the pay-per-view takes place. In the meantime, Reigns will be ready to defend his title against whoever he has to.
