SmackDown Dark Match Results, WWE Live Event Lineup, Mick Foley, Chelsea Green

WWE taped two dark matches following Friday’s episode of SmackDown, and you can check out the results below:

* Drew McIntyre def. Ludwig Kaiser. McIntyre then delivered a promo talking about his history with Florida and having his first singles match in three months before hyping his Intercontinental Championship clash with Gunther at SummerSlam 2023.

WWE will host some live events in Mexico this weekend. WWE hosts a show in Mexico City on Saturday night and another live event is scheduled for Monterrey on Sunday. The advertised lineup for the shows are:

Saturday in Mexico City:
* WWE Undisputed Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio
* WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio
* Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest

Sunday in Monterrey:
* WWE Women’s Championship Match: Asuka vs. Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
* WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio
* Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest, Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio

Mattel will release a “Three Faces of Foley” WWE Elite action figure set, and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley reacted to the announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con.

The three-pack was unveiled at the WWE Mattel panel that took place at the convention, and Foley addressed them during the panel. He said,

“I have actively wished for this and hoped for it. I even drew a line in the sand when it came to my Legends Deal. I told my manager, ‘I’m not re-signing another Legends Deal unless I have a guarantee that they are doing some type of three faces of Foley thing.’ I guess I don’t need to worry about that now. This is really great.”

Ringside Collectibles has listed the estimated release date for the pack as late November.

Chelsea Green has received her unique style of ring introduction from Samantha Irvin, and she says the idea completely belongs to the popular ring announcer.

Irvin’s vocal prowess allows her to put a different spin on Green’s name whenever her name is announced, and Green spoke about it at the San Diego Comic-Con WWE Mattel panel. She said,

“It was and it’s so so good, but you are going to see that I trained her for a little bit. It will be exclusive on TikTok. I’ll let you know when that’s live. I gave her a little training, a little vocal training, and a good warm up.”

Green and Sonya Deville defeated Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships earlier this week on Monday Night RAW.
