Former professional wrestler CM Punk recently expressed his interest in taking on retired wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. He shared his thoughts on a prospective WrestleMania 41 duel between them while featuring on “The Masked Man Show”.
As per Punk, Austin would be the one to make the final call about stepping into the wrestling ring. He remarked,
“It would entirely depend on Steve. I don’t have much say in it. Given his triumphant return leading to his main event at WrestleMania, I think he might have finally hung up his boots. His fighting spirit might be buried deep in the Nevada desert now. But if he wishes to resurrect it, well, he knows where to find me. Ideally, it should’ve occurred a decade ago. However, if he has the itch to return, he know who to reach out to.”
A tweet about Punk’s willingness for a matchup with Austin generated considerable attention on social media:
