In a recent installment of the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast, Shelton Benjamin from The Hurt Syndicate shared his aspiration to win the AEW World Title.

His vision for his career in AEW: “Finally it’s happening after a few near misses over the past year. Being able to perform in front of a live audience on TV has been a fulfilling experience. I look forward to bringing my best to the AEW program while aiming to accomplish significant milestones. It’s daunting yet humbling to recount my 18 years wrestling with WWE and comparing it to my current experience. However, I am more in-tuned with my personality and on-ring prowess now, and it is reinvigorating to prove my worth to the people.”
His hopes to win a world title: “The fans seem to appreciate my performance so far. Even the new fans are beginning to question if I am the same boy from WWE. Candidly, I am not. I am pushing my boundaries, working unrestricted and with no restraints, I am now able to leverage my true potential to its fullest. I have set big goals to reach in the AEW, one of which is to secure a world title.”
During his stint in the “My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox” podcast, AEW wrestler and producer QT Marshall shared his experience of assembling his match with Big Boom! AJ from the Costco Guys besides disclosing his aspirations towards the bout and more.

Concerning his match with Big Boom! AJ: “I couldn’t be more delighted and proud with the results of our match.”
On his association with the Costco Guys: “Clearly, WWE has been successful with the Logan Paul engagements. This sparked an idea, who could we partner with [that] already has some tie with wrestling? That’s how we found AJ.”
On a possible rematch with Big Boom! AJ: “I believe there is a chance for a rematch in the future. I’m excited for the opportunity. I’m in the prime physical state of my life.”
As previously reported, Chris Jericho confronted Matt Cardona and EFFY during the ‘GCW Highest in the Room 3’ event.
In an Instagram post earlier today, Jericho warned Matt Cardona, stating he had “made a huge error.” His post read:
“…Hello @themattcardona 👋🌳 didn’t expect the King of New York to show up in Los Angeles at your @gamechangerwrestling Independent Event, did you?You seem to have forgotten who you’re dealing with…I always get my target! See you at #rohfinalbattle. @aew @ringofhonor”
Cardona is slated to challenge Jericho for the ROH World Championship at ROH Final Battle 2024.
