Shelton Benjamin Eyes AEW World Title, Toni Storm Teases Moving To CMLL Permanently

Following her memorable stint with CMLL, Toni Storm is contemplating not making a return to AEW.

Storm first made her appearance for CMLL at Viernes Espectacular, being bested by La Catalina.

On a recent episode of Mexico’s “AEW All Elite Show”, Storm let in on her plans of possibly settling down in Mexico permanently and opening her own taco business.

She expressed, “Things just happen as they’re meant to and currently, I’m giving serious thought to making this my permanent dwelling. I’m planning to launch my own taco stand and live a calm, blissful life in Mexico. It seems like the best decision.”

Storm went on to add, “I hope everyone is in agreement that I can stay? Yes, that would be incredible and everyone will flock to Toni’s tacos. This is my future business path. Maybe AEW won’t see me again. I can’t be certain, but I believe tacos is the next step. Oh, and remember, Toni’s Tacos. Keep your head held high, be confident, and be on the lookout for the taco.”

In another conversation on the “Gabby AF” podcast, AEW wrestler Shelton Benjamin voiced his ambition for the World Championship in AEW.

Benjamin asserted, “Regardless of what I’m involved in, my ultimate goal is to be the champion. I understand that sometimes it’s not your time, and the story is not about you, but regardless, I aim to win championships. Any championship.”

He went on to say, “Do I wish to be the center of attention? Yes, I thrive in the spotlight. I’ve always desired the spotlight, but the decision makers have different plans. When you work for WWE, you have to go along with their plan. That’s fine with me. However, let there be no doubt, I still aspire for a world championship, and want to amass every possible accolade on my resume. I’m aiming for the championship. Period.”

Currently, Benjamin and MVP have been making appearances together, both having recently debuted in AEW.
