After five years of AEW Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling’s roster has a new addition – Shelton Benjamin! His introductory appearance has created a significant buzz in the wrestling circle.
Prior to the show’s broadcast, earlier in the day, MVP dropped hints of an impending announcement. During the show, he took a moment to hand over his business card to the talented Mercedes Moné, expressing an interest to bring her into his network.
Later in the event, a special interview segment was reserved for MVP to make his much-awaited announcement. However, this was disrupted by Prince Nana who was seeking to retaliate against MVP’s earlier criticisms of his managerial prowess, particularly blaming him for Swerve Strickland’s recent hurdles.
Nana challenged MVP, a fellow former wrestler, to a match on the spot. MVP retorted with “That sounds like a complaint. I don’t deal with complaints. But he does.” and he proceeded to introduce AEW, especially Nana, to his business associate and the head of the complaint department – seasoned wrestler, Mr. Shelton Benjamin. Nana’s coffee mysteriously found its way into Benjamin’s hands before he strutted away with MVP.
