Ex-WWE star, Shelly Martinez, has publicly expressed her belief that WWE intends to remove all traces of her involvement and contributions to the company from its historical records.

Martinez, who was known as the vampire Ariel in WWE from 2006 to 2007, also played the role of a valet for Kevin Thorn in the revitalized ECW.

During a recent episode of the “Ring the Belle” podcast, Martinez voiced her opinion that WWE is working to remove her from its history. She stated:

“WWE has tried to erase me. They didn’t acknowledge my existence for an exceptionally long time. They typically only do it during October, which is understandable, but there was a significant period of time when they simply ignored me. I was never included in their alumni page or in any other context. There are individuals who’ve behaved far worse than I ever have.

“So they discharged me because I’m outspoken? Insignificant. There are individuals who’ve done dishonest deeds, wasted the company’s money, yet somehow I’m the one they’re attempting to wipe out. That’s when it hit me, it’s all a gimmick. It doesn’t even hold significance.”

In previous discussions, Martinez suggested that her falling out with Dave Bautista resulted in her dismissal in May 2007, as WWE chose to support Bautista.

After her stint with WWE, Martinez joined TNA becoming a part of LAX. However, she departed in 2008 after her request for a pay hike was turned down and to take up a role in an Italian suspense film.
