Sheamus Would Love To Compete At NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin

The next NXT UK TakeOver event is slated to take place in Dublin Ireland on April 26th. Sheamus, as the first Irish-born WWE Champion in history, Sheamus says that he would love to participate in the event and even name drops a few dream opponents he would like to take on.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, “The Celtic Warrior” revealed that WWE has yet to contact him for the event, but if they did, he would be more than happy to participate and would like to face NXT UK Champion WALTER, a Gallus member, or even, a fellow Irish-born WWE superstar that has also reached the top of the mountain on the main roster.

“I’d love to be involved. I haven’t heard anything,” Sheamus began. ‘WWE hasn’t approached me about it, nobody has asked me about it so I don’t know. I know it’s there, it will be a huge thing. I’d love to go. I’d love a match with Finn, [it] would be great. WALTER. Wolfgang. You know what I’m saying? There’s a lot of great talent over there. I’m up for it all but no-one has approached me at all about it.”
As it stands right now the show is set to take place on Sunday, April 26, 2020, live from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. Due to the Coronavirus and the recent cancellation of events, it remains to be seen if this show will take place as scheduled.
