Speaking with Mirror Online, Shayna Baszler runs down her thoughts going into her RAW Women’s title match at the first empty arena WrestleMania. When asked about how this unique circumstance affects her game plan, she said that she has to get creative. “In a way the grand scale of WrestleMania puts you in a box and makes things restricted. We have been forced into this, but it has definitely set the creative juices flowing. The world needs this right now.”
When asked about her opponent, Shayna is quick to say that she’s earned her spot, but her time is over.
Becky has proven she is tough. She got her face broken and came out on top, she got her knee messed up and challenged two champions at the same time. I would be lying to ignore that. But with all that said, I am better suited to win this. She is tough, everything she does is deliberate and for a reason. That is why it is going to make for a good match.
Finally, since Mirror Online is based in the UK, they asked Baszler about their local NXT and who she admires from that roster. Her favorite is one of their rising stars. “Every time I have seen Jordan Devlin in NXT, he has been in a banger, and I just really like the intent he has in everything he does.”
