Ronda Rousey did not put her foot down and demand a run as a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion despite what some have been led to believe.
On this week’s RAW, Rousey and Shayna Baszler captured the vacant tag titles, marking Rousey’s first reign with the titles and the third for Baszler.
Recently, Baszler spoke with the Cheap Heat podcast to discuss teaming with Rousey and said the UFC legend insisted on being in a team with Baszler.
When a fan reported that Rousey had demanded to win the tag titles, Baszler was quick to refute the claim via a tweet.
Twisting my words. The demand was to team together. That’s it. Full stop. https://t.co/BYCN8vXHng

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships had previously been held by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, who were forced to vacate the gold due to Morgan’s shoulder injury.
