Appearing on the YouTube channel “BLOOB the Alien on the Justin Talks Puppets,” WWE LFG newcomer BJ Ray expressed his interest in a future face-off with R-Truth. He stated:
“In this business, I consider myself the ultimate entertainer. When mulling over what kind of match I’d prefer or whom I’d want to challenge for, it’s less about glory and more about presenting something the audience would enjoy. I truly believe that a match between R-Truth and myself could turn out to be one of the most entertaining in the history of wrestling. I have the greatest confidence that our collaboration would deliver a memorable match, unmarred by ego conflicts, and potentially be the most humorous match ever, which is something I hold in high regard.”
Elsewhere, during a visit to the “Gabby AF” podcast, WWE NXT North American Champion, Shawn Spears, shared his thoughts on his responsibility as a seasoned player in NXT and his new team. Spears shared:
“The team is now complete. It took some time, but all the pieces are finally in place. The consequences faced by Tony [D’Angelo] and his squad on NXT were the results of careful planning. The guys in our team have been waiting for their chance to shine for a long time. Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame – these guys are raw, passionate, eager, reminding me of myself at their age, and to an extent, even now. It’s a thrill to see that spark in upcoming talents. Having been in the field for 23 years, it’s not often that I feel this level of anticipation. Plans can often fall through in this business, but I’m filled with excitement about the limitless potential that these three young talents bring to the table. For me, it’s exciting because I’m aware of the journey they will go through, the highs and lows they’ll face, and fortunate enough to guide them through. I’m eager to help, particularly from my own experiences.”
