WWE’s Head of NXT Shawn Michaels has addressed Mandy Rose’s controversial departure from the promotion last year.
In December 2022, Rose was fired from WWE due to the content uploaded on her website, a day after losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez.
Speaking on the NXT conference call ahead of NXT Vengeance Day, Michaels was asked about Rose and said it was not his call to fire her.
Michaels added that he thinks very highly of the former Toxic Attraction member, and has nothing but good things to say about her.

Rose, who is serving out a non-compete clause, has said she is open to a WWE return and has encouraged fans to “never say never.”
The 32-year-old earned over $1 million in December 2022 alone via website subscriptions and has questioned why she can’t be a WWE Superstar and run her website.
