Shawn Michaels Praises WWE’s Recruiting Team, Jey Uso Reveals His Favorite WWE Moment

The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, expressed deep admiration for the folks behind WWE’s talent acquisition process during a recent conversation.

In his recent conversation featured on “The Ringer Wrestling Show,” Michaels was asked to express his thoughts on the latest WWE NXT acquisitions. His words were,

“I would wish that it was me who did all the recruiting, but in reality, I don’t even know the details of the Internet Explorer page. While I would love to claim otherwise, the reality is that we have a top-notch recruitment team in place. The work they do to scout for promising athletes from across the globe, universities and other sports within our beautiful nation is truly exceptional.”

He added, “While clearing the tryouts and selecting who walks through the door in Orlando is certainly an important part of the process, it’s the talent development crew both in Orlando and Stamford that are responsible for casting the broad net to find these athletes. It’s amusing to think I could do all this by myself. We have a talented and dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this possible.”

Jey Uso fondly recalls his clash with his brother Jimmy at WrestleMania 40 as the high point of his journey so far.

During his time at Jazzy’s World at Fanatics Fest held in August, Uso reflected on his highly memorable match with his brother.

We bring you a few extracts from the engaging discussion:

Discussing his most cherished WWE moment: “If pressed, I’d choose WrestleMania 40. It was a dream-come-true in so many ways, the face-off with Jimmy.”

Commenting on how the match contributed to the Bloodline storyline: “Yes, absolutely! But we’re sorting it out. Bloodline’s gonna hold it together, we’ll be just fine. In every family, disagreements are inevitable.”
