Shawn Michaels has recently spoken about the vital role of Jeremy Borash in WWE and NXT. Borash, who was part of the team that created the Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes Georgia Tech video for WWE SmackDown, has made significant contributions to production at NXT. In a recent “Ringer Wrestling Show” interview, he was specifically asked about Borash’s impact on the main roster.
During the interview, Michaels acknowledged Borash’s contributions. He stated, “Jeremy is somebody that Triple H brought here years ago. Much of what we do at NXT, which is now making its way to the main roster, began with Triple H. He envisioned NXT as a distinct and innovative platform, serving as a testing ground for new ideas. This philosophy continues to drive NXT today.”
Further, Michaels praised the fantastic end result of their work and emphasized the commitment to innovation across WWE domains, mentioning, “We constantly strive to be creative and innovative and place no restrictions on ourselves.”
Before joining WWE in 2018, Borash was a part of TNA’s production team for numerous years.
Shawn Spears also featured in a recent episode of the “Insight” podcast, where he discussed his return to WWE on the February 27th episode of NXT, attacking Ridge Holland upon arrival. He mentioned the need for secrecy around his return, emphasizing that the only way to keep a secret in the current age is to strictly maintain silence. He added that he did not inform anyone about his comeback, which was known only to Matt Bloom, Shawn Michaels, and probably Triple H.
