The NBA bubble down in Disney World may be able to contain the Coronavirus, but it can’t stop The Showstopper Shawn Michaels from indirectly making a run-in during the playoffs.
Toronto Raptors player Pascal Siakam “tuned up the band” against Boston Celtics’ Daniel Theis during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals in the NBA Playoffs yesterday evening. A rendevous for the ball went down underneath the hoop and Siakam seemed to channel HBK as he connected with Theis right in the kisser. This moment of course got a lot of wrestling Twitter talking about shades of Shawn Michaels and sure enough, the man himself chimed in this morning.
Well, while I APPRECIATE you’ve been watching my old @WWE tapes, you may run into issues hitting sweet chin music on an @nba basketball court!!” Michaels playfully Tweeted.
