Wrestling superstar Shawn Michaels has hinted at the potential for more collaboration between NXT and other wrestling platforms down the line, indicating that there will be significant updates coming soon.
Recent speculations suggest a growing probability of increased cooperation between WWE and TNA. This follows after Jordynne Grace’s surprise appear on NXT TV, challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Title at the upcoming Battleground 2024.
During an interview with KTNV Channel 13, Michaels subtly suggested the possibility of future mutual participations for the NXT brand.
Michaels articulated, “Well look, evidently more of these decisions are finalized by those ranked above me. But I’m confident that there are going to be thrilling announcements making their way out soon, I’ll make sure of it. With all said and done, it boils down to our intent to entertain those who love wrestling, and you’ve just mentioned it, fans have been craving for these elements for a considerable amount of time.”
In continuation, he added, “Honestly, I don’t know. For those of us who operate behind-the-scenes, these are components that we’ve always wanted to witness. So, why not strive to bring you all those aspects you’ve been clamoring for? Without a doubt, it’s an exhilarating era for wrestling enthusiasts, and we’ll wait to see how it unfolds at Battleground on June 9. I believe there’ll be plenty of surprising turn of events that night, so I recommend not missing it.”
